Internal Medicine Chair - Greater Phoenix Area Hospital employed practice is seeking a BC/BE Internist to serve as Chair of the Department of Medicine Competitive base salary offered commensurate with qualifications and experience Department of Medicine includes 78 physicians, 16 advanced practitioners, and is integrally involved in the academic infrastructure across the metropolitan area Department divisions: Cardiology, Critical Care Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Internal Medicine, Hospitalist, Infectious Disease, and Palliative/Pain Support the following programs Internal Medicine Residency Program - 96 residents Gastroenterology fellowship - 6 fellows Cardiology fellowship - 12 fellows Hospice/Palliative Care fellowship - 1 fellow Student rotations, including M3 clerkship, M4 electives, and PA student rotations Student rotations and 39-resident Internal Medicine residency program (20 minutes from main campus) Collaborate with academic leaders to develop and implement educational programs to benefit the faculty and learners across the system & affiliated medical school Mentor physicians and APPs within Department, including regular evaluations, providing feedback for improvement, and enhancing their professional development Comprehensive benefits package offered including CME, sign-on bonus, relocation, 403B with match, and more!
