Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Medical-Surgical unit serving ortho, general, urology, and ENT patient populations
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–7 on night shift across varying acuity levels
• Float to like units as needed; must be willing to float to comparable Medical-Surgical settings in the area
• Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday rotation schedule
• Be available for on-call assignments during low-census periods; call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• ADN or BSN degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with urology and ENT patient populations
• Familiarity with multi-level care environments including ICU, Step-Down, and Med-Surg settings
• Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, changing clinical environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
