Event Manager

Job Summary

The role involves managing various aspects of events, which includes assuming full or partial control as determined by management. Responsibilities include delegating duties or tasks to others, maintaining full or partial client contact, and completing necessary reports or paperwork. In the event of an Agency employee injury, the role requires completing reports and immediate contact with Agency management. Additional duties and tasks may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a candidate with experience in higher education or student services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing events tailored to various student communities, such as first-generation students, veterans, and students with children. A strong understanding of higher education institutions, facilitation experience, and the types of support these communities require is essential. Familiarity with the ecosystem is highly desirable. Experience in coordinating events is an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

Availability to support events, many of which occur after 5 p.m.
