Job Description Join Baker Tilly’s Development Advisory (DA) team as a Project Manager on our Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship compliance team. This role supports projects linked to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022 and is integral to Baker Tilly’s energy, infrastructure, economic development and federal grant advisory services. What You Will Do Lead prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance efforts for projects seeking IRA credits. Facilitate client and contractor meetings, train stakeholders on our compliance program, and respond to inquiries by directing them to the appropriate team members. Advise internal and external clients on meeting prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements throughout the construction process. Use interpersonal communication skills to build and manage strong relationships with Baker Tilly colleagues and clients. Document and analyze processes, internal controls and workflow to identify opportunities for improvement. Support project staff in day‑to‑day service delivery. Grow through direct coaching and mentoring, and participate in firm‑wide learning and development programs. Participate in team activities that encourage a healthy work‑life balance. Successful Candidates Will Meet The Following Requirements A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, supply chain, engineering, construction management, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. At least five (5) years of progressive consulting experience, including a minimum of one (1) year serving as a project manager. Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project‑management, and communication skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to deliver exceptional client service, stay current on relevant strategies, understand both big‑picture and details, exhibit strong ethical knowledge, and demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and timely completion of duties. Experience with the construction industry or labor compliance is helpful. Benefits and Compensation The U.S. national pay rate range for this position is $59,400–$236,800. Compensation is influenced by factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, degrees, certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
