SprayerHancock and Moore Plant 1 - Taylorsville, NC 28681OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionThis position is responsible for shadowing an experienced sprayer during a six month trainee program.Essential Duties:Ability to learn to spray even coats of finish, stain, paint, or lacquer on assembled cases.Visually inspect for runs of materialLearn to fill and adjust equipment as neededLearn to read formulas and color panelsLoads the line by pulling material from Whitewood Storage area to conveyor and loading in assigned order.Occasionally attaching tall cases and bed frames to palletsObserves plant safety rules while also keeping work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties.Performs other tasks as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsPosition RequirementsOn completion of six month program, this position should be able to meet the following requirements:Read and understand finishing scheduleHave the ability to set up finishing equipment 'pumps'Have the ability to spray fillers, glazes, and wash coat all at a quality level.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
