Abcor Home Health, Inc. is growing and we are hiring a Lead Intake & Compliance Specialist to join our team in our Arlington Heights office.Abcor Home Health is looking for a growth-driven and detail-oriented Lead Intake & Compliance Specialist to drive referral conversion, intake performance, and compliance excellence across our operations.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced homecare environment and can balance relationship-building, operational execution, and compliance oversight.We prefer someone with previous homecare or healthcare operations experience who understands intake workflows, referral management, and documentation requirements.What We Can Offer You:Pay range of $58000 per year - $62000 per yearMedical, dental, vision, life and disability InsuranceAvailable the first of the month following 30 days of employment401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off13 PTO days for the initial calendar year of employment, prorated depending on the start date during the calendar yearPaid Company HolidaysFloating HolidaysResponsibilities:Own and manage the full referral lifecycle from intake through confirmed start of careDrive referral-to-start conversion through timely follow-up and barrier resolutionTrack and analyze referral sources (payors, hospitals, community partners) to identify trends and growth opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with referral partners and payorsServe as escalation point for high-priority or complex referralsMonitor referral pipelines daily and ensure no referrals are stalled or missedProvide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Intake CoordinatorsEnforce standardized intake workflows to ensure consistency and efficiencyPartner with Scheduling, Operations, Payroll, and Billing teams for seamless care startsOversee Compliance and Pre-Billing Integrity processes to ensure accuracy prior to payroll and billingReview and resolve HHAX alerts, exceptions, and discrepanciesConduct audits of documentation, visits, and authorizations to ensure complianceSupport internal and external audits (IDoA, DHS, MCO, payors)Identify documentation gaps and ensure audit readiness at all timesWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in intake, scheduling, compliance, or healthcare operations requiredPrevious leadership, training, or mentoring experience preferredStrong understanding of referral workflows and pipeline managementAbility to manage high-volume work with urgency and accuracyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesExperience with CRM systems, intake tools, and Microsoft OfficeExperience with HHAeXchange (HHAX) or EVV systems preferredAbility to balance growth targets with compliance requirementsRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelDetail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environmentBilingual in Spanish (Preferred)Join our team and help ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant care to individuals in need.
