Job Description
Registered Nurse - Hematology/Oncology

Schedule

Shift: 8 hours, Day shift from 8 AM to 5 PM. Self-scheduling with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week. Contract length: 16 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology setting required.
• Must be certified in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy.
• Epic experience within the last 2 years is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Must provide a valid nursing license at the time of submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion therapy and patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments as per protocols.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor responses to treatments.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients about treatments and manage their care plans.
