divh2Job Title/h2pDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/pulliWashes, scrubs, and maintains kitchen and related walls and floors./liliOperates dishwashing machine to manufacturers specifications and instructions./liliWashes and scrubs pots and pans used in the kitchen./liliArranges chinaware, silver in store rooms and shelves./liliEmpties various garbage cans as appropriate./liliAssists kitchen personnel as required./liliAdopts the Clear as you go method of working./li/ulolliSets up workstation as required including filling dish machine, checking chemical levels, setting up flatware presoak, and gathering required set-up equipment for pot sink./liliRinses/scrapes all dishes; washes dishes and flatware as each rack is filled; may put clean dishes in assigned storage location./liliSweeps and mops kitchen floor at the end of each meal period and after each spill./liliMonitors chemicals and water temperature during shift; changes water at specified intervals./liliCleans kitchen equipment such as hoods, filters, steam tables, bus tables, carts, ovens, and grills; cleans and organizes storeroom./li/olulliNotifies supervisor of any malfunctioning equipment or unsafe condition./liliComplies with IHG Hygiene and Sanitation standards./liliComplies with hotels health and safety policy./liliMaintains a clean and quiet environment for our guests behind the scenes./liliAttends meetings and hotel training sessions as required by hotel management.
