Senior Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The attorney will manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, primarily involving premise liability and labor law cases. The role offers the flexibility to work from either the Manhattan or Bellmore office. Duties Manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters. Handle all aspects of insurance defense work, including reporting to adjusters. Conduct discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, and trials. Employ a proactive approach to case management. Take cases to trial as necessary. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience in insurance defense, including labor law. Trial experience is essential. Ability to manage cases from inception through trial. Active membership in the New York State Bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in New York State.
