Interim HealthCare- Maine is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Berwick, ME. This role involves working closely with Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care to patients, assisting with treatment plans, and supporting patient mobility and recovery in a compassionate and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care techniques.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Maine.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
