Managing a Team of 20+ Req.) Description Our client, an established retailer with multiple locations across Wisconsin, seeks a Store Manager for their Waukesha location. You will oversee overall store performance, lead the execution of inventory resets, and manage a team that seasonally fluctuates between 23-32 employees. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a retail property and is extremely hands-on, resourceful, collaborative, and accountable . Assistant Store Managers or Department Managers from Big Box/large scale retailers will be considered. To be successful, you must be comfortable with ambiguity in year one as you experience a complete cycle of seasonal resets and the variables that come into play. Responsibilities Provide hands-on leadership to support store operations, profitability, and customer experience Implement and monitor merchandising resets and marketing plans Oversee all staff (23-32 people), including Assistant Managers & department leads Provide coaching to store associates and Assistant Managers Create a daily plan and staff assignments Oversee inventory, scheduling, and customer service processes Track store performance, KPIs, and proactively address areas of concern Start-up computer systems for opening and support cashiers with troubleshooting as needed Ensure daily cycle counts are completed and sent to the corporate office Align store culture with company vision and values Develop strong partnerships with store personnel, buyers, vendors, and corporate leadership Protect and maintain company assets and resources. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards Retail Store Manager (Exp. Managing a Team of 20+ Req.)
