Custodian II

Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, Operations and Transportation, the Custodian II is to perform a wide variety of cleaning and custodial functions at assigned site(s), perform routine grounds keeping and maintenance duties in the upkeep of the District buildings and facilities, and drive a school bus or transportation vehicle safely in the transportation of students and staff, including: to and from school, field trips, athletic activities and other special trips while maintaining buses in a clean and safe condition.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. One-year experience performing custodial or maintenance work, or its equivalent.

Licenses, Certifications and other Requirements:

Possess and maintain a valid and appropriate California Driver's License Class B with endorsement for passengers and air breaks. A valid restricted or unrestricted California School Bus Driver Certificate. A valid California School Bus Driver's Certificate. A valid Medical Examiners Certificate (DMV No. DL51A). Applicants selected for employment will be required to submit fingerprinting and negative TB test at their own expense. Valid California Driver's License.
