Sabrosura Foods is also one of the largest private label producers of Hispanic cheese in the U.S. Job Summary This position is responsible for performing detailed, deep cleaning on production equipment and overall facility cleanliness. The role uses different types of chemicals and sanitation equipment such as Foamers, steam hoses, COP tanks, and CIP systems. Strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, time‑keeping, and personal conduct rules is required. Job Responsibilities Operate and certify use of forklift, pallet jack, and walkie forklift Conduct CIP and COP tank verifications (e.g., chemical concentrations, flow, time, and temperature) Communicate any food safety related issues to supervisor or managers Observe facility and equipment conditions to ensure they are in good and compliant condition Perform and follow SSOPs on production tools and equipment Document sanitation and production checks Follow proper GMPs, PPEs, and chemical handling practices Perform full tear‑down of production equipment for sanitation purposes Use foaming equipment and scrub facility equipment Understand chemical usages and purposes Verify equipment cleanliness after cleaning practices Follow facility color‑coding program for cleaning methods Complete Master Sanitation Schedules on a timely basis Assist Line and Floor Sanitation Supervisors All other duties as assigned Education and Experience Sanitation experience in a food production environment High School diploma or equivalent required Required Skills/Abilities Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to pay close attention to detail Capable of following directions; consistency is crucial to the position Proficient manual dexterity to perform routine functions Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to both hot and cold temperatures Physical Requirements Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting Able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs Able to push/pull up to 60 lbs Standing 4‑10 hours per day Walking 4‑10 hours per day 1st Shift Monday through Friday 7am‑3:30pm #J-18808-Ljbffr
