Territory Manager-Idaho Falls

Location: Idaho Falls, ID | Schedule: Full-time, on-site/field-based Overview A long-established, family-owned industrial distribution company is seeking a Territory Manager to serve customers directly through a fully stocked mobile store. The company operates a unique direct-to-customer model, bringing industrial hardware and supplies to businesses across sectors such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment. This role is central to the company's sales strategy, combining relationship-building with hands-on mobile retail operations. What you'll do Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and proactive outreach to businesses near existing customers Make face-to-face cold and warm sales calls within an assigned territory Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store itself Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and overall functionality of the mobile store Submit accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect activity Maintain up-to-date customer contact information, including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses, using company software Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available Ability to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle Clean driving history Physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis Strong, tenured work history with no job hopping; ideally a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment Preferred qualifications Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales Why this role This position offers the opportunity to run an independent, mobile sales operation serving a diverse range of industries, with success driven by relationship-building, consistency, and strong organizational skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
