About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Virginia**Start Date:** August 3, 2026 **Location:** Hopewell, Virginia **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends (every other weekend), at least 1 Friday and 1 Monday per 4-week schedule. Patient ratio 1:4. No on-call required.**Highlights:** - 22-bed Emergency Department with vertical space capacity for additional patients- Comprehensive case mix including cardioversions, central line placements, cardiac arrests, code stroke and sepsis protocols- EMR system: Meditech (EDM)- Equipment includes Phillips & GE Monitors, Level 1 Rapid Infuser- Collaborative team environment with approximately 50 staff members across shifts- Potential floating to freestanding emergency department location (approximately 15 minutes away)**Requirements:** - Active Virginia RN license or ability to obtain- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI required- Strong IV skills with adult and pediatric populations (essential)- Excellent communication skills- Trauma experience and TNCC certification preferred- Meditech experience preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** Join a dynamic emergency department team that values professionalism, accountability, and patient-centered care.
