As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver in Dallas, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and regulatory requirements. Support a professional working environment by reporting maintenance concerns, security-related issues, and/or operational irregularities while following Allied Universal standards and post instructions. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
