Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The position requires knowledge and experience in various cardiac procedures. Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of angioplasty techniques and percutaneous interventions. Experience with Impella and IntraAortic Balloon Pump (IABP) is essential. Familiarity with atherectomy devices and techniques, such as the Rotablader, is required. The technologist will also be expected to perform temporary venous pacemaker and Swan Ganz placements. The role encourages scrubbing technique for procedures. The technologist will work with department equipment, including Philips, Siemens, and GE Fluoroscopy Systems. Candidates must be available for weekend call, with a response time of 30 minutes from activation.
