About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Location

Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics setting during night shift hours
• Float as needed to affiliated facilities, which may include locations in Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and a Pulmonary Main Campus
• Deliver patient care in compliance with facility policies, including adherence to a smoke-free and nicotine-free environment
• Complete required facility orientation modules pre-start and annually as directed
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing, background, and drug screening requirements throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio RRT license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active NBRC certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Must pass a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) within 12 months of start date; updated annually — candidate must be nicotine free with no exceptions
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from assignments worked within the past 12 months are required; co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a neuro diagnostics or multi-specialty respiratory environment
• Familiarity with float pool or multi-site hospital system workflows
• Strong adaptability and ability to work across varying acute care environments
