Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role requires precise execution of procedures while ensuring patient safety and care quality.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Execute complex cardiovascular procedures including Left Heart Catheterizations, High-Risk PCIs, Right Heart Catheterizations, Pacemaker placements, and Peripheral Interventions.
  
  
• 
  Operate and assist with advanced procedural equipment such as EMCO and EKOS systems.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status during procedures, providing continuous assessment and support.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile technique and adhere to safety protocols throughout all procedures.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Document procedural details accurately and thoroughly in compliance with regulatory standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited CVT or Radiology program.
  
  
• 
  Possess minimum of 2-4 years of experience in interventional/cardiovascular procedure settings.
  
  
• 
  Certified as an RI or RCIS and current BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in complex cath lab procedures and equipment operation.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong patient care and communication skills.
