Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with an active CO Certified Surgical Tech (CST) license to join our OR team at a Level III trauma center. The role involves assisting in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, supporting a high-volume surgical unit.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and setting up surgical instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
• Support patient positioning and handling during surgery to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and equipment used.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to facilitate smooth operative workflows.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current, active CO Surgical Tech (CST) license issued by DORA.
• Graduate from an accredited scrub technologist program.
• Possess certification from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT in Surgical Technology.
• Demonstrate experience with orthopedic, neuro/spine, robotics, urology, GYN, ENT, and plastics surgeries.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
