Perfusionist

Location: Greenville, SC

Schedule: 5x8-Hour Shifts (Shift times vary based on department needs)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Perfusionist to support a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing cardiopulmonary bypass, ECMO, and advanced circulatory support systems while providing care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal cardiac patients.

• Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) during cardiac surgeries

• Manage ECMO support, including cannulation, monitoring, and transport

• Support adult, pediatric, and neonatal cardiac procedures

• Assist with emergent cardiac surgeries and trauma-related cardiovascular procedures

• Operate and troubleshoot perfusion and circulatory support equipment

• Monitor patient physiological parameters during procedures

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical teams

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within Epic EMR

• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality standards

• Participate in on-call and emergency response coverage as required

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

• Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP/ABCP)

• Current BLS Certification

• Current ACLS Certification

• Minimum 5 years of Perfusion experience

• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience

• Previous travel experience required

• Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal cardiac cases

• ECMO Management

• ECMO Cannulation & Transport

• Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB)

• Adult Cardiac Surgery

• Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

• Neonatal Cardiac Surgery

• Emergent Cardiac Surgery

• CVOR Experience

• Pediatric CVOR Experience

• General OR Experience

• Level 1 Trauma Experience

• Spectrum Pumps

• Terumo System 1

• Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia

• Centrimag

• Impella 5.5

• CardioHelp

• AngioVac

• ISTAT

• Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit

• CardioQuip HC
