Behavioral Health Specialist Fellow (MSW) (LSW)

Overview Oak Street Health’s Graduate Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship is a 12‑month paid training program that equips trainees with the skills, support, and learning necessary to become a highly confident and competent clinician for older adults. Role Description As a Fellowship participant you will: Build knowledge of evidence‑based interventions and psychotropic medication management. Earn clinical supervision hours from a licensed clinical social worker. Engage in didactic content designed to build on graduate training. Deliver brief, solution‑focused therapy to older adults within a collaborative care model. Participate in team‑based care coordination efforts aimed at improving quality of care. Following the completion of the program, fellows will be employed at Oak Street Health for a minimum of 24 months, with opportunities for ongoing career development. Qualifications & Requirements Required: Family, Adult, or Adult‑Gerontology Social Worker who has graduated or will graduate from a graduate program. Willingness to work in the assigned location for the duration of the program. Minimum GPA of 3.0 in MSW program. Active, non‑probationary state‑level social work license in the state of employment by the fellowship start date. Genuine passion for behavioral health and a supportive attitude toward older‑adult patients. Team‑player willing to collaborate with colleagues in an empirically‑guided population health setting. Selection Process First‑round interviews are conducted as applications are received. Subsequent rounds are virtual or in‑person based on applicant preference.
