Medical Director (Psychiatrist) Needed in Dayton, Ohio! Medical Director for Adult Services (Medical)Dayton, Ohio This job reports to the CEO. This is a Full-Time position, working 1st Shift . Job Skills/Requirements: The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and direction to the development of adult psychiatric services. The ideal candidate will ensure that all consumers receive psychiatric services appropriate to their condition in a timely manner. Provides clinical supervision to the psychiatric medical team for Adult Services which includes the Director of Nursing. Serves as a member of the senior management team. Responsible for the financial performance of the Medical Department including individual clinician productivity, revenue enhancement, and expense control. Provides direct psychiatric services including comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment - including prescribing and administering medications. Academic: Minimum - M.D. or D.O. License/Minimum - Certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or Board Eligible. Active and unrestricted medical license from the State Medical Board of Ohio.
