Cloud Infrastructure Engineering

What you will be responsible for As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will: Build and operate enterprise-class cloud infrastructure services focusing on security, resiliency, scalability, and performance Assist with implementation of global network connectivity solutions in the cloud Have deep knowledge and hands-on implementation experience in networking technologies and cloud platforms Have hands-on experience scripting, working in an Infrastructure As Code environment, and leveraging automation tools Collaborate with other Cloud Platform Engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver a secure, well-architected technology platform Provide engineering support for build, migration, and operation of cloud infrastructure services Work with the IT Security Team, Solution Architects, and Cloud Operations Team on security-related issues and maintain logs of operational activities Partner with project teams on cloud infrastructure technologies and solutions Continuously learn new technologies and expand expertise Participate in establishing automated processes and cultivate a DevOps mindset What we value Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ownership of issues and follow-through Experience operating global, highly-available infrastructure services Willingness to learn new technologies and develop solutions to business problems Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Analytical field Five years of experience in a large-scale multi-site enterprise environment Network certifications preferred Three years of cloud deployment experience, preferably with Azure Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama Experience with automated deployment models Deep understanding of networking concepts such as routing, VPN, and NAT Knowledge of Change Management principles Experience with Github, Gitlabs, Ansible, Terraform preferred Deep understanding of infrastructure services like DNS, authentication, and load balancing Experience with segmented networks in public and private clouds Experience with Infrastructure as Code in Azure or other cloud platforms Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills Strong analytical skills Salary Range: $120,000 - $202,500 annually The quoted range applies to the primary location.
