Job Description Job Description Mechanical Assembler Location: Southwest Houston, TX Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift LINK Staffing is hiring an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a full-time manufacturing opportunity in Southwest Houston. This position is ideal for someone with strong hands-on mechanical assembly experience who is comfortable working from technical drawings, using precision measuring tools, and assembling mechanical components to specification. This is a skilled assembly position requiring attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment. Job Highlights Full-time, 1st shift Southwest Houston location Skilled mechanical assembly position Work from drawings, diagrams, and work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment Weekly pay through LINK Staffing What You’ll Do Assemble mechanical parts, components, frames, and equipment Follow technical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions Use hand tools and power tools to fasten, fit, adjust, and install components Measure and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools Check alignment, fit, measurements, and overall assembly quality Perform mechanical fit-up and make adjustments as needed Identify and report damaged, defective, or incorrect components Follow established quality and safety procedures Complete production and assembly documentation as required Maintain a clean and organized work area What We’re Looking For Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams, and work instructions Experience using hand tools and power tools Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar measuring tools Comfortable working with metric measurements Ability to work accurately with close tolerances Strong attention to detail and quality Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly work throughout the shift Preferred Experience Precision mechanical assembly Experience assembling industrial or manufacturing equipment Experience working with machined metal components Knowledge of GD&T is a plus Aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, or similar manufacturing experience Vocational or technical training in mechanical assembly or manufacturing is a plus Why Apply Competitive pay at $28.00 per hour Full-time, 1st shift opportunity Hands-on skilled mechanical assembly work Opportunity to work with precision mechanical components Weekly pay through LINK Staffing Apply Now If you have hands-on mechanical assembly experience , can read technical drawings, and are comfortable using measuring tools and hand/power tools, apply today to be considered.
