Job Title: Production Supervisor Job Description

The primary role of a Production Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.

• Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and collaborate with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production quality control and maintenance to detect problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.

• Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution.
• Understanding of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.

• Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, and drawings.
• Experience in production supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience.

This is a contract position based in the US. The role involves working in a production environment, where adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with team members and supervisors is crucial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wentzville, MO.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
