Advanced Practice Provider-County Correctional Healthcare Nocturnist

Location: County Correctional Biweekly Hours: 80.00 MetroHealth's Division of Correctional Medicine seeks a night shift Advanced Practice Provider for the Cuyahoga County Jail. There is a wide range of presentations in the jail necessitating broad knowledge and experience in general and urgent care medicine. The patient population is medically diverse and rewarding. Nurse Practitioner required credentials: Graduate of an accredited DNP or MSN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program Current RN and APRN license in the state of Ohio Board Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in specialty. Current BLS Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth Maintains a standard care arrangement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing Physician Assistant required credentials: Graduate of an accredited Doctoral or MS Physician Assistant program. Current PA licensure in the State of Ohio. Board Certification as a Physician Assistant from NCCP Current BLS Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth Maintains a supervision agreement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Medicine APPs at MetroHealth are afforded voting membership within the medical staff.
