Hold certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of MN or hold a temporary RT permit. Possess a current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card (can be obtained upon hire). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 180 days of hire. Key Responsibilities: As a Respiratory Therapist at our facility, your role is pivotal in delivering top-notch care. Your responsibilities encompass: Conducting patient assessments and crafting tailored respiratory care plans. Administering treatments and therapies, including aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation. Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans as needed. Educating patients and their families on respiratory health management. Maintaining precise patient records and documentation. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
