As a Barista, you’ll help create an experience that keeps our customers coming back. You’ll provide fast, friendly service , prepare consistently delicious drinks, and bring a positive attitude to every shift.

Our Baristas are responsible for creating amazing customer experiences while following company procedures, drink recipes, and food safety standards.

Essential duties include:

• Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude
• Take orders, answer questions, and share information about specials and new products
• Educate customers about our menu and make recommendations when appropriate
• Prepare specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to recipe and quality standards
• Maintain knowledge of current products and confidently communicate product information
• Handle cash and operate the register according to established procedures
• Serve orders accurately and within established speed-of-service standards
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and customer areas
• Restock ingredients, supplies, food, and merchandise as needed
• Operate and maintain store equipment properly
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Show genuine appreciation to our customers and fellow team members
• Work as a team to keep the store running smoothly and efficiently

• Previous food and beverage or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
• We provide extensive training and are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and continually improve
• A positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service are a must!

Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $15.16/hour + tips
Schedule: Flexible

This position is primarily indoors but may occasionally require working outdoors. Baristas work closely with coworkers and customers and may be exposed to hot temperatures. The position may require kneeling, stooping, bending, and reaching for ingredients or equipment. Employees will also be required to follow the company dress code or wear a designated uniform.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and use hands to operate equipment and controls
• Ability to hear and understand coworkers, customers, and vendors
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to see details on objects located within a few feet
