As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll help build and scale the technology behind Volio while working closely with product, operations, marketing, and external partners.If you're a product-minded engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and wants your work to have a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain our Python/FastAPI backend running on AWS ECS Fargate.Develop and improve AI-powered multi-agent workflows using Amazon Bedrock and LangGraph.Build and optimize RAG pipelines and long-term semantic memory.Develop mobile features using React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android technologies.Create lightweight 2D gamification and student progression features.Integrate GPS/geolocation functionality for school and class-related experiences.Design and maintain data models across PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB Atlas.Contribute to AWS infrastructure, Terraform, and secure cloud architecture.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.Support mobile releases through Apple App Store Connect and Google Play.Monitor application performance using tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, and AWS X-Ray.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into accessible, reliable products.Required Qualifications3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications, APIs, or mobile applications.Strong experience with Python and preferably FastAPI.Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.Genuine interest in accessibility, inclusion, and technology that improves people's lives.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience with any of the following is a plus:LangGraph, LangChain, Amazon Bedrock, or OpenAIReact Native, Flutter, Swift, or KotlinRAG, vector databases, or AI/LLM applicationsAWS ECS FargateTerraformMongoDB Atlas Vector SearchGoogle OR-Tools / CP-SATMobile application deploymentObservability and distributed systemsBenefitsVIABILITY is pleased to offer the following benefits to eligible full-time employees:Medical/Rx Insurance offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS): Competitive medical coverage with two plan options for employees and their families.Health Savings Account (HSA): Employee-funded HSA with pre-tax payroll deductions for eligible healthcare expenses.Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Options include Health FSA, Limited Purpose FSA for dental and vision expenses, and Dependent Care FSA.Dental Insurance (BCBS)Vision Insurance (BCBS)Life Insurance: Life insurance benefit equal to 100% of the employee's salary.403(b) & Roth Retirement Plans: VIABILITY matches contributions up to 4%, subject to annual review.
