About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS preferred Must-Have: BSN preferred Description: 225 bed specialty care hospital. Features Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. Offers region's premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. Located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula. The largest community in the peninsula. Home to a local university. General Comments: All agency staff assignments require adherence to attendance policies. A formal warning will be issued after a second absence. Termination of the contract may occur after a third absence unless prior discussion and agreement is made with unit leadership. All absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours. The facility will not be responsible for any early termination fees if an agency staff member is released from their contract for just cause, including but not limited to, failure to meet attendance requirements or violations of professional conduct standards. Position is created to replace permanent staff.
