Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity department serving up to 175–200 patients per day
• Care for a complex patient population including transplant, burn, LVAD, ECMO, comprehensive stroke, chest pain, PICU, NICU, and L&D cases
• Perform accurate triage and patient assessment using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
• Participate in rotating on-call and rotating weekend call as required
• Float within scope to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet operational demands

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience in an acute care setting; prior experience should include a minimum 30-bed ER environment
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and ESI
• Must live more than 75 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required, along with a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last three months of the projected start date
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) per 13-week contract period; no holiday RTO accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO, LVAD, or other advanced cardiac or critical care modalities in an ED setting
• Familiarity with high-volume emergency departments and complex, multi-specialty patient populations
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
