Under direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) is a member of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of technical support analysts. The position performs independently, with minimum supervision, and is responsible for advanced personal computer (PC) support and network connectivity. The position leads technical staff that provides first line support for personal computer workstation installation, problem diagnostics, and resolution, training and customer support. Duties extend to provide support for planning, acquiring, researching and evaluating new technology and products to be used within the current technical environment.
