The company proudly serves customers across the United States and internationally. Role Description The Quality Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for inspecting gears, gearboxes, and related components using measuring tools, gauges, and inspection equipment to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing engineering drawings, performing dimensional and visual inspections, documenting inspection results, and reporting nonconformances. The role collaborates with production, engineering, and quality teams to address quality issues, support root cause analysis, and help implement corrective actions. The Quality Inspector also assists in maintaining calibration records, following safety and quality procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills, including use of precision measuring tools and interpretation of engineering drawings. Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices, including documentation, nonconformance reporting, and process improvement. Demonstrated Analytical Skills for troubleshooting quality issues, supporting root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions. Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments; gear or gearbox experience is a plus. Ability to follow standardized work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality procedures with attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in quality or machining is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
