Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description

The company is seeking multiple journeyman electricians to enhance their leadership team. The role involves bending conduit, pulling wire, and performing terminations, primarily focused on creating HACs and failure domains for equipment such as large transformers. The position also includes prefabrication work, such as bending conduit to fit systems and wiring/terminating equipment for installation at various data center sites. Over time, journeymen will supervise apprentices/helpers, delegating tasks and offering guidance and training.

Responsibilities

• Bend conduit and pull wire for electrical installations.
• Perform terminations for various electrical systems.
• Engage in prefabrication work, including bending conduit to fit systems.
• Wire and terminate equipment for subsequent installation at data center sites.
• Provide training and delegate tasks to apprentices/helpers.

• 4+ years of experience in a commercial/industrial setting.
• Strong experience with conduit bending.
• Proficiency in wire pulling and terminations.
• Familiarity with EMT/Rigid conduits.

• Journeyman license card or accredited hours is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Completion of trade school is advantageous.
• Understanding of electrical codes.

Work Environment

Employees will work in a temperature-controlled warehouse/manufacturing setting. The initial location is a warehouse in Whitestown, IN, with the main facility in Pittsboro, IN. The starting schedule is 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, transitioning to 10-hour days as production increases, likely from 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Whitestown, IN.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Whitestown,IN.
