National Oncology Sales Training Manager - United States Field

Amgen seeks a National Oncology Sales Training Manager to lead a team of six trainers and develop curricula for the U.S. Oncology Business Unit. This role requires translating business priorities into engaging training programs while managing multiple projects and partnering across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of six Oncology Sales Training Managers overseeing new hire and advanced training curricula
• Partner with brand and sales leaders to develop training for product launches, meetings, and regional initiatives
• Set priorities across multiple projects, manage timelines, and maintain stakeholder communication
• Coach and develop staff to deliver business priorities and build organizational talent
• Build trusted partnerships with field and business stakeholders to ensure training meets evolving customer needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years training/sales/marketing experience, or Master's plus 6 years, or Doctorate plus 2 years
• Minimum 2 years direct people management or team/program leadership experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales, health systems, and account management
• Preferred: 5+ years pharma, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industry experience
• Preferred: Oncology experience and understanding of U.S. oncology landscape
• Ability to develop training strategies aligned with field sales and account management needs
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating across cross-functional teams
