SR PROJECT ENGINEER

SR PROJECT ENGINEERBranch Civil is searching for a highly skilled, team-oriented Senior Project Engineer to join our well-established, growing company. The Senior Project Engineer oversees all engineering and technical aspects of the project, with a strong emphasis on organizing and planning, to assure the highest level of accuracy and quality. This position reports directly to the Project Manager and provides support in project safety, documentation, plans and specifications, construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, projections, and project closeout.Duties/Responsibilities:Measure, report and forecast accurate cost and revenue dollars and quantitiesFully review contract documents, drawings and specificationsAssist Pre-Construction Services/Project Manager(PM) in defining project budget and cost codesPrepare Initial Budget Adjustments for PM review prior to start of workEnsure the acquisition of permits, through appropriate channels, as requiredMaintain and update RFI Log, Change Order Log, and Submittal LogMaintain and update the Materials Book – C25s/Certs/Etc.Support quality control/Ensures approved materials are being usedDraft and submit Change Orders per PM approvalDraft and submit RFIs per PM approvalFirst level approval of subcontractor invoices for PM final approvalRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in engineering/Construction and two years of experience in heavy civil DOT/large site constructionAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
