Sonographer (Ultrasound Tech) – Travel Assignment

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Ultrasound / Sonography
• Setting: Acute Care
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, variable days
  • 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or
  • 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements

 

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Ultrasound/Sonography experience
• ARDMS (RDMS) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• General Ultrasound and OB/GYN experience required
• Vascular experience preferred
• RVT certification preferred
• RDCS certification considered a plus
• Procedure experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform General Ultrasound examinations
• OB/GYN Ultrasound studies
• Vascular studies
• Ultrasound-guided procedures
• Drain and biopsy imaging support

Work Environment

• Average of 8–10 scans per day
• No floating required
• Radiologist support available
• No IV starts required

Systems & Equipment

• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Philips ultrasound equipment

Call & Scheduling

• Call required: 1–2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

• Professional scrubs of any color permitted
• Department-specific orientation provided
