This confidential opportunity is for a Bridge Design Manager to lead and scale a structural practice within a highly respected engineering consultancy. The role is designed for a strategic leader who will oversee the technical delivery of complex bridge design, rehabilitation, and inspection programs while simultaneously driving market expansion. Acting as a Project Principal , the individual will manage high-value infrastructure assignments, ensuring technical excellence and project profitability through rigorous quality assurance and senior-level mentorship of a growing engineering team.

The ideal candidate possesses an extensive background in structural engineering, anchored by an active PE license (SE preferred) and over a decade of experience navigating public-sector transportation standards. This professional will serve as a key liaison to major agencies, leveraging a deep understanding of AASHTO LRFD specifications and fixed/movable bridge structures to secure and execute large-scale projects. Beyond technical mastery, the role requires a business-minded individual capable of identifying growth opportunities, leading major proposal efforts, and cultivating a high-performing, collaborative culture.
