With over 50 years of excellence in heavy civil construction, RLW is known for tackling complex, high-impact projects across the western U.S. As a Sr BIM/VDC Engineer , you’ll drive innovation and efficiency across our heavy civil and structural projects — including highways, bridges, rail, and transit — by leading digital construction efforts and advancing model-based workflows. - Develop detailed models using Autodesk AEC Suite to streamline the production of 3D models and drawings for on-site construction and prefabrication of various concrete elements.
- Model concrete structures for lift drawings, rebar, and formwork
- Provide constructability and sequencing feedback through BIM model reviews
- Coordinate models internally and with external teams
- Collaborate closely with VDC Manager, located in the home office in Utah, and onsite project staff
- 6+ years of BIM/VDC experience in heavy civil or concrete structures
- Extensive experience onsite with concrete crews and knowledge of structural concrete construction
- Proficient in Revit, Civil 3D, Recap, Navisworks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
