Mortgage Loan Processing Assistant Full Time Clerical DENVER, CO, Denver, CO, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 3853 Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking internal and external applications for a Mortgage Loan Processing Assistant for our Denver, CO region. The successful applicant must possess excellent member service and organizational skills. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis. Responsibilities Process mortgage loan files: Contact member within 24 hours of receiving the mortgage file to make an introduction and request supporting documents needed in addition to ensuring initial disclosures have been signed. Request and collect supporting documentation from member. Prepare letters of explanations for members. Complete income calculation worksheet. Assemble loan files in e-folder in order for submission to set‑up. Request supporting documentation from third parties as needed including ordering tax transcripts as required for loan files and obtaining verification of deposit, mortgage, employment, rent, installment and revolving debt. Communicate with member regarding the status of their loan. Field and answer incoming mortgage calls. Update the loan origination system as verifications are received from the member and vendors. Clear member facing underwriting conditions imposed by underwriters. Maintain a working knowledge of all credit union mortgage products. Develop a working knowledge of the credit union’s data processing system, loan origination system, Word, and Excel software.
