HVAC Counter Sales Representative

Position Overview Ferguson is looking for a Counter Sales Representative to serve customers Monday‑Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm. The role involves providing product advice, processing orders, operating cash registers, and maintaining store appearance and safety. Responsibilities Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs. Process orders via the order management system. Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures. Prepare and stage orders for customer pick‑up. Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised. Ensure merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas. Maintain a safe working environment, including PPE usage. Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400lbs. Qualifications 3‑5 years of sales and/or customer service experience preferred. 1+ year of HVAC product knowledge strongly preferred. General computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. General math skills for cash accounting. Excellent decision‑making and communication skills. Must be willing to learn.
