Commercial HVAC Service Technician (Vehicle and Gas Card)

Pay $25-$40/hr

What You'll Do

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be

responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing

commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. You'll work independently and

alongside a supportive team to ensure customers receive reliable, high-quality

service.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including multi-zone heating and cooling equipment.
• Perform system startups, maintenance, and warranty service.
• Inspect, test, and repair compressors, motors, fans, controls, and related components.
• Service refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and humidity control systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide service recommendations.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with quality standards.
• Assist with HVAC and plumbing system installations as needed.
• Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Journeyman License
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively.
• Ability to pass a previous history check and drug screening.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred:

• Experience working with boiler systems.
• Additional commercial HVAC or refrigeration experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Covington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
