Our mandate is to provide strategic and practical legal advice to all functions throughout the organization - and our day to day work is diverse, ranging from drafting and negotiating contracts to evaluating product offerings to monitoring and addressing legislative and regulatory developments that affect the future of the internet. We are energized by the challenges of serving a dynamic, fast-growing company that's shaping the future of online advertising in a complex ecosystem - and we're looking for a new commercial counsel to join the team and assist our continued growth. Responsibilities Interact and collaborate with senior executives across TripleLift's diverse business, providing practical and actionable legal advice that appropriately balances business objectives with risk. Supervise other attorneys on go-to-market tasks and projects in a way that is collaborative, inclusive, and supportive. Collaborate with other senior members of the legal team. Review, negotiate and draft a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including terms governing access to our core advertising services, platform vendor and data provider agreements, SAAS, privacy and other technology agreements. Lead complex, cross-border, commercial negotiations with strategic partners and some of the biggest names in digital advertising. Support product, technology and commercial teams in evaluating, protecting and commercializing new products and features. Ensure compliance and draft contracts and policies to address a variety of industry standards, laws and regulations impacting online advertising, including intellectual property, gaming, privacy and political advertising. Help the legal team develop, implement and support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, legal processes, policies and trainings. Exercise strong judgment to advise TripleLift and contribute to the overall success of the business. Identify, research, analyze, and advise teams on a wide range of relevant legal topics, issues, and risk (e.g., licensing, intellectual property, commercial, data security, and privacy law). Thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment and participate in helping to lead a diverse and highly capable legal team. Education & Requirements Licensed to practice in New York with superior academic credentials. 6+ years of commercial experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department. Prior experience in adtech, with strong client service skills. Experience with global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.).
