Research Program Coordinator

The Arnold Healthy Kids Initiative seeks a Research Program Coordinator to support funded public health research projects. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day research activities, participant recruitment and retention, data collection, regulatory compliance, and communication with community partners and funding agencies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate research project operations and timelines.
  • Develop and implement participant recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Prepare and submit IRB applications and related compliance documents.
  • Train and support research staff on study protocols and procedures.
  • Manage project records, data collection activities, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with investigators, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support project activities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Expertise in the use of computers and the Internet.
  • A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
  • Experience or interest in sleep in children or youth.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with parents, community partner personnel, children, and the community at large.
