Sr. Accountant

Sr. Accountant (8–15 Years of Experience)
Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is seeking a senior-level Accounting professional to support month-end close activities for a recently acquired entity. This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to work independently, manage core close functions, and proactively resolve accounting issues.
Responsibilities:
- Support and execute month-end close processes
- Prepare and post recurring journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations
- Draft financial statements
- Assist with Excel-based consolidations
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies independently
Required Qualifications:
- Strong technical accounting background
- Experience supporting month-end close in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable working in Excel-heavy settings
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new ERP systems quickly (Syspro preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience supporting post-acquisition or integration environments
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
