Echocardiology Technologist

As an Echocardiographer, you will perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography studies for inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and surgical patients. You'll use your expertise to obtain diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images and measurements that support the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. This role requires independent judgment, strong technical skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms, limited studies, contrast studies, and bubble studies according to departmental protocols and professional standards.
• Produce accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by cardiologists while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
• Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate patient history and optimize imaging, recognize significant abnormalities, and communicate urgent findings when appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient care across various settings.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Minimum one year of echocardiography experience required.
• Travel experience required.
