PRN Registered Nurse Home Health Ewa Beach

Skilled nursing work that fits your life. BrightStar Care of Honolulu is looking for two PRN Registered Nurses to join our skilled nursing team. Our immediate need is a bowel program client in Ewa Beach with a consistent daily shift from 8:00 to 10:30 AM. We are building a two-person split for this case, so you will not be expected to cover every day. Beyond this case, you will have access to additional PRN skilled nursing opportunities across our active client roster as your availability allows. WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE

Your primary case involves implementing and monitoring a bowel management program for a home care client in Ewa Beach. Depending on your availability, you may also pick up additional skilled nursing visits from our broader roster. Typical cases at BSCH include wound care, medication management, post-discharge monitoring, and clinical assessments. Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor individualized care plans with precision and dignity
• Document clinical findings and communicate changes to the Director of Nursing
• Support client comfort, safety, and well-being during each visit
• Coordinate with the care team to keep care plans current and effective

One-to-one care every visit. No patient ratios. No shortcuts.

COMPENSATION

• $50.00–$60.00/hr for skilled nursing visits (rate varies by case)
• $40.00/hr for orientation and shadow shifts
• Weekly pay with direct deposit
• ZayZoon earned wage access (get paid early when you need it)
• Mileage reimbursement between clients at the prevailing IRS rate

REQUIREMENTS

• Current, unrestricted Hawaii RN license
• BLS certification
• 2 step TB clearance or clear chest X-ray
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (home health, med-surg, rehab, or long-term care)
• Valid Hawaii driver's license and personal auto insurance
• Ability to perform client care tasks and lift up to 50 lbs

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (NOT REQUIRED)

Experience in bowel and bladder management, wound care, geriatrics, home health, or rehabilitation is a genuine advantage. Backgrounds in long-term care, post-acute, or spinal cord injury settings translate well to the cases we serve. Other specialty experience we utilize across our skilled nursing roster:
