Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview Position Title: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric Salary Range: $28.03 - $30.81 per hour Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, no weekend rotation Job Summary: As a Physical Therapist Assistant at this facility, you will play a crucial role in helping our geriatric patients achieve their maximum physical potential and maintain their independence. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients. Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to determine their physical abilities and limitations Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients\' strength, mobility, and range of motion Monitor and document patients\' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress at home Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient treatments and progress Comply with all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations Qualifications Associate\'s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time-management skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the field of physical therapy #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services
