Growing together.As the Home Health Aide you will provide hands-on personal care and assistance to patients in their residences, supporting comfort, dignity, and daily functioning. Your role assists with activities of daily living under the supervision of licensed clinical staff while adhering to individualized care plans. As the Home Health Aide you will play an important role in promoting patient safety, independence, and overall quality of life.Primary Responsibilities:Obtains temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respirationMaintains a clean, safe, and healthy environmentAssists patient with getting in and out of bed, bathing, hygiene, and toiletingPrepares and provides and/or assists with mealsPerforms light homemaking and other environmental servicesObserves, reports, and documents any changes in patient statusUnderstands basic elements of body functioning and reports changes in patient's body functions as indicatedRecognizes emergency situations and implements appropriate emergency procedures per care center policyFollows care center procedures regarding infection prevention and control, handling of hazardous waste and safety measuresFollows specific written instructions for personal care in accordance with the plan of careAssists patient with prescribed exercises as instructed per nurse or therapistPerforms other duties as assignedYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirementsCNA experience within the last two years. If it has been more than two years, you must complete another training and competency program before providing servicesMust be able to successfully pass the competency program of the care centerCurrent CPR certificationPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $23.50 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
